WHAT IS CONNECT?

Connect discipleship is designed to lead you into an ever-growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

From the initial decision to walk with Christ, to a serving opportunity at Christ the Rock Community Church, we provide you with a path that will enable you to connect with God and with others.

Connect discipleship is comprised of the three components listed below. Each component helps empower you to take a step toward realizing God’s plan for you within the context of partnering with Christ the Rock Community Church.

BASICS OF THE FAITH
Explore the essential tools and beliefs that produce a more meaningful relationship with Christ.
MEMBERSHIP AT CHRIST THE ROCK
Become better acquainted with the story, vision, and values of CRCC and the benefits of becoming a member and understanding the process that will help equip you to fulfill your call to serve.
SERVING AT CHRIST THE ROCK
Go beyond the basics and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ through different classes and studies held throughout the year.

BAPTISM

When we enter the waters of baptism, we proclaim the gospel message. Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and lives again. By joining in baptism, we’re identifying ourselves with Him.

Romans 6:4 “says we have been buried with Him through baptism into death. We’re now dead to the power of sin. Being raised up out of the water expresses our new life in Christ and our union with Him.

Baptism at Christ the Rock Community Church is offered as part of our CONNECT Discipleship Course.
